Stereo Pair and Alexa
AnsweredHi
I am trying to link my BlueSound installation to Alexa without much success.
I have a pair of Pulse Flex speakers grouped as a fixed group stereo pair which has a name of "Study". If I go to Settings/Player It gives me a room name of PULSEFLEX-4B48 which I don't understand as this is clearly a single speaker name and not a room.
Alexa seems to need a default room - but how do I give the fixed group a room name? Further explanation and help would be appreciated. The Alexa App guide pdf is pretty meaningless if you cannot set up the basics.

Hello Rob,
The Alexa skill will look for the primary player of the group and not the group name when issuing commands through your Amazon Alexa. What I would suggest is to go to Settings > Player and give this player the room name you would like to use with your Amazon Alexa. If this does not help, please contact us directly at support@bluesound.com or by going to Help > Send Support Request through the BluOS app to have us look into this further for you.
Regards,
Wesley P.
