Issues with Presets
AnsweredSince I have my M10 I use presets quite often. Sadly I have some serious issues with using them in BluOS:
- Rearranging them is a mess. Where I expect drag and drop I get a very cumbersome scenario of using numbers to change the order which takes ages to change a preset from #4 to #1. Drag and Drop would fix this. Or assigning and if theres already an item on #1 I can assign #4 to it and all the others automatically follow the new order.
- Not an issue on the M10 but on other players I hardly have an idea of what playlist I started on players like the Flex. I don't have an answer here but with 5+ players in my home I can't remember all the locations of playlists and everything on those presets. It would be great to get a voice-feedback or whatever what the actual preset is. (Alexa? I don't know)
- TuneIn let's me assign presets from the browse-model which is very convenient. I really miss that for all occasions where this is possible. Sometimes I think "this playlist is awesome, I want to set it as a preset" but instead of going to the dots-menu I have to go to the presets menu and look for the playlist again there. Only in TuneIn I don't have to? It would be great to see some consistency there.

Hello Julius,
Thank you for taking the time to provide your feedback. I will pass this along to our Quality Assurance team for their consideration to include in a future firmware update. We are always looking to build and improve upon the BluOS app and truely appreciate any feedback we receive such as this.

Hi Wesley,
Any update on the presets issue? I bought my NAD M33 a few months ago and I have the same issue.
It's very weird that preset positions are assigned using a number instead of simple drag and drop. And, nobody really needs a gaps in the presets anyway.
I really love my M33 and BluOS works quite well overall, but I find issues like this annoying (I need to change presets every week). It is frustrating because certain bugs and limitations are not addressed even after 5 years.
Thanks,
-Gautam

No, you cannot rearrange presets without renumbering as this will effect other systems that use BluOS. Thanks for understanding.
