    Hello Cristoffer,

    We have received similar feedback from other users regarding the shuffle functionality of the BluOS. This feedback has been passed along to our Quality Assurance for their consideration to include in a future firmware update.

    As for your request for playlist playback, I will submit this to our engineering team as a feature request to see if we can include something similar to what you have described in the BluOS app in the future.

    Hi Wesley,

    I have the similar problem. I added a new present and confirgured with a playlist from deezer. But it starts only with the song and sorting.

    I'm wondering what the progress is on this topic. Lack of the option to shuffle selected tracks only (eg playlist) is frustrating.

    I have a playlist of my favorite tracks in Deezer. There are about 500 titles. However, I can't change the sorting and there is no shuffle mode. So I always have to listen to the playlist in the same order and just don't listen to the first 50 tracks. Because a sort is missing, I no longer use the playlists. It's a pity that such a simple function is not available at this price.

    When I read the entries and wishes of the customers here, I do not understand why Bluesound does not really respond to anything and uses the voices for a great further development of the products.

    Microsoft and Apple are very successful with this strategy.

    Bluesound always says they care, but nothing happens. Also, errors that users communicate here will not be fixed.

    Do I have decide for a wrong system?

    Just to add fuel to the fire I've hit the same issue with tidal playlists. A 4 hour playlist that completes in 20 minutes isn't what I would expect from a company with big plans.

    I have been deliberating between buying a Naim Uniti Atom or a NAD M10. The difference? The app. I think the naim app is pants so looking at bluos. I don't know if the things are connected but I believed I could cope without a uPNP player but this basic oversight makes me wonder.

    As I say I doubt the shortfalls of the shuffle function have anything to do with it not being uPNP but there's 2 areas of concern of considering a bluesound/bluos product on a small box!

    I asked about this very issue when I first got my Node 2i nearly two years ago, and nothing's changed in that time. It doesn't seem like it should be difficult to write an app that allows you to select a playlist and then hit a shuffle button to mix its contents without having it add content on its own from outside the playlist. Tidal and Qobuz can do this in their own apps. For the 99% of us who don't plan the sequencing of our playlists, the ability to shuffle is fundamental to the very idea of playlists in the first place, especially with larger lists.

    I even wondered if perhaps this is just a problem with the mobile app, but the Bluesound desktop controller appears to be similarly hobbled, or perhaps even worse - I don't even see a shuffle button there at all, regardless of where it might end up pulling the music from. It's possible it's there and I'm just not seeing it. That kind of thing has happened to me before, as embarrassing as it is to admit. But looking at the desktop controller right now, with one of my playlists selected, I don't see one.

    This whole thing strikes me as a very odd approach for a music player user interface. I wonder if it's in keeping with European music listening habits.

    Bumping this up as I just got myself a streamer using BluOS and could not get the shuffle button to work properly. It shuffles the whole library, not just the playlist you are currently listening to.

    Seeing that this has been reported about 2 years ago and it is a simple function to implement, it smacks of poor customer care behavior that nothing has been done about it yet.

    Still not able to shuffle songs within a playlist! People have been requesting an update to fix this more than  two years. Come on Bluesound engineering, how difficult can it it be??

    I have just purchased a pile of bluesound stuff and whilst i am very pleased with the sound quality, the shuffle of a playlist from my vault simply doesnt work. If Windows Media player could do this years ago please can we have it the next bluesound pc app release?? Thankyou.

    Since I have my vault (2 or 3 years) I have downloaded several firmware updates .
    Each time I hope that the shuffle playlists playing mode will be available… and unfortunately this (basic) functionality still not appears.
    Difficult to understand why it is not implemented over the years
    Plus I do not see or feel any visible improvements (in terms of sound quality or iPhone application) after each firmware update.
    No doubt they are useful but I wonder what they really bring to the product

    The sound from Bluesound N130 is phenomenal high quality 🤩

    However, please fix the shuffle or random play of single playlists. Now customers have asked you for this very simple upgrade, it has been over 3 years since you heard about this issue.

    I just wrote about an “issue” with shuffle play, BUT it turned out in my case I should clear the play cue list that interferes with the playback I wanted, sorry… I followed this link for how to clear the que list; https://support.bluos.net/hc/en-us/articles/360035621354
