You're not. I have the same but only experience the issue when streaming from my NAS. Using Qobuz I have no drop out issues.

I have just taken delivery of "BT Halo" router and experience annoying dropout on my Node 2.

Are there settings I can change on the router to stop this.  Really irritating, annoying and time consuming.  BT do not seem to have a clue.

Firstly, please don't waste your time talking to BT. In my experience, there are no settings on the hub that make a blind bit of difference. Are you streaming internally or from a service? Hard wired or WiFi?

Streaming national radio from tune in and also Radio Paradise etc. The node 2 is connected to the router over wifi. I had very few problems with an earlier BT router.

In my experience, WiFi with the Smarthub is troublesome. I have a hard wired connection to the Node 2i with no issues. It's there any way that you can rig a cable up and try it?

I am sure hard wired will function but want to solve wi fi issues, only now occurring. Is there a wifi fix?

I'm afraid I don't have an answer to that. WiFi is unreliable for consistent uninterrupted music streaming IMO so I don't do it. You could try using Powerline adaptors if a full hard wired solution is impractical. Out of interest are you using BT Complete WiFi (black discs) or just the Smarthub?
