Audio delay when connected via bluetooth with Node2i
AnsweredI recently bought a Node2i and connected it to my Nubert nuPro A300 active speakers. Sound quality is excellent but I experience some delay (around 100 ms) when connected via Bluetooth. I first discovered that when watching videos (e.g. on YouTube) and found a slight lip-sync problem. Checking this with a latency test video (e.g. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TjAa0wOe5k4) revealed that there is indeed a delay.
To rule out my audio chain I have set up, I did the same test while connecting my laptop via audio cable to the Node2i in which case I experienced no delay.
Is this a known issue? Or is there anything I'm missing here.
Tests have been performed with
1. Lenovo IdeaPad Yoga 2 Pro Windows 10 with 7260NGW Intel Dual Band Wireless-AC 7260 802.11ac, Dual Band, 2x2 Wi-Fi + Bluetooth 4.0
2. Sony Xperia XZ1 Compact Android 9 with Bluetooth 5.0, A2DP, aptX HD, LE
Any help highly appreciated!

Hello Alexander,
By design, Bluetooth connections will typically give some slight audio delay. I have noticed this myself with many other Bluetooth speakers of my own when attempting to connect to a video source.
If you would like to use a video source with your Node 2i, I would suggest using an Optical or Analog connection from your computer or phone to your Node 2i.

Wesley P.
