Soundbar 2i no sound with Mini DisplayPort to hdmi

Hi,

my Mac book Pro is connected to a Sony TV via Mini DisplayPort (hdmi input of TV). The picture works.

How can I transfer sound via Bluesound Soundbar 2i?

The sound only works with the TV speakers. The soundbar is connected to the HDMI-ARC of the TV.

  Hello Guido,

  To have the content from your Macbook play through your TV to your Pulse Soundbar 2i, you will need to ensure your TV is set to output your audio to your Soundbar 2i. Depending on the exact model of your Sony TV this setting may be in different locations but most likely under your audio settings as digital output.
