Playlist song delete function
Hello, I have just purchased a streaming amplifer and after only a few hours of using BluOS I was faced with the same problem: There is no delete function in the dropdown menu! The temporary solution offered by Bluesound (through the „Play Queue“) is not a userfriendly way to edit a playlist and is furthermore adding further problems. For example, editing a playlist saved in the Qobuz folder through the play queue as suggested indeed creates a new playlist but rather than overwriting the old playlist, the edited playlist is saved as a new playlist in the BluOS folder. The old playlist still remains in the Qobuz folder and there is no way to delete it in BluOS. After a few hours of frustration I came up with the idea of installing the Qobuz App and deleting the playlist there. The Qubuz App like Spotify an other providers of course offer a simple delete function for playlists.
Anyhow, I’m very disappointed to see that this issue has been discussed in the community for at least three years now but apparently no one from Bluesound has seriously bothered to solve this ridiculous problem by simply adding a delete function to the dropdown menu. Whoever from Bluesound is reading this message, please motivate your programmers to invest a few hours of their time and add a few lines of code to the software. I’m sure your customers will appreciate it!
Many tanks in advance and greetings from Austria,
Ewald

Hello Bluesound,
same problem on my side, I dont understand how such a basic function is still missing. If this is to complicated to implement you should think about Reengineering your software.
many regards

Hi Tony
You can only delete Playlists created in BluOS by selecting My Playlists and then open the context menu and select Delete. To delete imported Playlists from Your Library or Streaming Service, you must delete them at the source, such as your NAS or on your Music Service's App or website.
https://support.bluos.net/hc/en-us/articles/360000303448This is by design as BluOS is simply a Music Playback system, not a music curation system

You are new here, aren't you Mark? :-)
Hint: Don't hold your breath; this was requested about seven years ago.
