Volume desktop app
AnsweredHello,
I would like to point out that the adjustment of the volume on the desktop is quite a struggle. I would like to offer my suggestion:
- add a number (or percentage) to reference to when setting a new volume. When grabbing the slider, it tends to directly jump/adjust and there's no audible change until released to hear what setting you currently have. It takes a few steps to find the new setting. Having a starting reference would make it more easy.
- Using the shortcuts gives faster feedback, but always requires two taps to make sure the volume is adjusting. Again adding the number would take the guessing away.
Thanks.

Hello Hamblok,
Thank you for taking the time to provide your feedback. I will bring this to the attention of our Quality Assurance team for their consideration to include in a future update. For the time being, by clicking above or below your current volume in the BluOS desktop app, you will be able to adjust your volume slider in increments of 2% which may help to give you some more control over your volume adjustments.

Second this, particularly in the last update of the desktop app, the slider has become even more sensitive. On the mobile app, you have introduced these very useful +/- buttons as well - might be good to have the same on desktop as many of us have touchscreens nowadays. Possibly also enable the +/- on the keyboard

Hello Robert,
Thank you for taking the time to provide your feedback. In the meantime, what I can suggest for the BluOS desktop app would be to use the keyboard shortcuts which can be found in Help > Shortcuts. The shortcut to turn the volume up and down from the desktop app is to press CTRL + Arrow up or CTRL + Arrow down. I am unsure if this is possible on your touchscreen but give it a try to see if this helps for the time being.

Wesley,
Yeah, it works but doesn't visually show the changes in volume before you click the volume control. Running v3.8.1 on Windows 10 with touchscreen and a regular keyboard. The main volume control, pictured bottom left has become really clunky. The one that pops up when I click on the devices is slightly better though.
This desktop app needs a very strong revamp.
Thanks.
