Hissing pitch noise Powernode 2i

Hi,

I’ve two quality speakers connected to a Powernode2i. I noticed a hissing, high pitch noise coming from both speakers when NOT playing. The sound doesn’t get louder when turning up the volume. The sound is not loud but very annoying, and when playing music the sound is still there.

It is definitely the Powernode which is causing te sound. I disconnected every other device around the Powernode+speakers, the sound is still there. When connecting the speakers with another amplifier: no sound at all.
It seem to me that the Powernode is giving a sort of disruptive signal to the speakers, both when playing and when not playing.

Is the someone who can help me with this?

Retrim your speaker cables. If the problem persists, please select Help, Send Support Request and we can take a closer look.

unfortunately retrimming the speaker cables doesn’t solve the problem.
Can you take a closer look?
