    Hello Rene,

With headphones connected to the front port of your Powernode 2i, this should disable the speaker output altogether. With a subwoofer connected to your Powernode 2i you may still get some low-frequency noise playing from the subwoofer, but the speakers themselves should be disabled at this time.

I have escalated this as a request to our support team to investigate further for you. A member of our support team will be reaching out to you shortly to gather some additional information and see what we can do to resolve this for you.

    Regards,
    Wesley P.

Edit: this issue has been resolved in the BluOS v3.10.0 update.

    Dear All,

I have same problem with my Powernode 2i.

It is worked properly (speakers were switched off if I plugged headphone) but nowadays the speakers remains on when headphone connected.

    What could be the problem?

The support tech stated he was able to replicate the problem but he could not fix it.  The problem has been referred to the engineering team to provide a fix for this problem in a future firmware update.   Guess that means we have to live with it until then (or return as defective).

I have the same issue. It's weird because I think that it wasn't present with former firmware version.

I know it's not a major issue, but it's annoying.

    HI Guys,

this problem still exists. I think now it's a main and urgent issue because 3 months passed and nothing happened. This does not boost customer satisfaction...

Thanks for your patience and understanding Tamas - unfortunately, due to COVID-19 social distancing guidelines set down for The Government of Canada and Province of Ontario, where our head office is located, our Quality Assurance Lab has all been working out of their home office. As a result, our diagnosis and replication of issues are significantly impacted when trying to find root cause issues in low-level firmware. Thank you for your patience and understanding.

Tony, no problem. I think we can all be a little more patient and understanding in a situation like this. Take your time, be careful and take care of your families.

We have have the same issue. For us it is a major issue! It's really annoying. What is your timeline now? 2 months of corona are passed and a lot of us are back on work....And more family members are spending their time at home. So a quiet headphone stage of the bluesound would be very  helpful! But health matters so keep healthy! But please keep us informed. Best regards Ekhard

    Thanks for understanding...

Thank you, Tony!   Looking forward to the update.  I hope none of your family and co-workers were affected permanently by COVID -19, and everything returns to normal quickly.

Thanks for your thoughts Rene, though I know friends of friends who were deeply affected, luckily COVID-19 has not affected my family or day to day life other than safety measures put in place. Things are slowly starting to ease in my region but we are all staying vigilante. I hope you are as lucky as I am too.

Hello everybody! Today there was an update prompted on my Powernode 2i which I was hoping would solve the issue however it did not. I tried to search for the change log and number of update but didn't find...not sure if it was supposed to fix the problem with sound leaking from speakers. I still have the problem, I hope you could give more clear picture when this will be solved. Thanks

Same here.  No change. Still hear music through the speakers When the headphones are plugged in.

    HI Everyone,

I think it's a shame on Bluesound. There are an existing problem which can solve with 5 click and they do not...

The error was caused by an update but will not be fixed... This is not a support... I also have a problem with my C658 BluOs player nor can they solve it for months... I think this is the time to switch Sonos..... It's a shame......

    HI Tamas

Thanks for the feedback - it's not a 5 click fix but significantly more involved, otherwise we would be happy to provide a fix. It is however a priority and we do expect a resolution very very soon.

    Dear Tony,
My question: is a full price refund possible due to an error?
Of course, I will return the defective product within the warranty period.

its happening to me with the newer blue sound node

It doesn't happpen everytime but sometimes when I plug the headphone output to an external headphone amp (I have the fulla 3) the sound comes out from both places (headphone and speaker).

The solution is to unplug the cable and plug it again but its bit annoying as I don't always notice this is happening because sometimes I only press the play button with the headphones already on my head and I can't listen that the speaker is playing as well unless someone else tells me
