Vault 2 stuck during update

Hi,
once more (like during every update infact), my Vault 2 device get stuck during the update.
i know this will last a couple of days before it "unlocks" with the update passed.
no way to make it happen (i usually try all the proposed alternatives with usb, wifi or ethernet or else )
is it because of the updates not properly set up when released or because of my device being definitely a bad one ?
this is far from being the first problem I experience and I had already several chats with support crew.

Hi Lolo
The issue you are seeing has to do with the VAULT trying to connect with upgrade server before the router has given it an address as the VAULT reboots as part of the upgrade. Set a DHCP reservation for your VAULT in your router. If you need assistance with that, we can help by selecting Help, Send Support Request in the App.

Hi there,
problem still araising with 3.8.8 update, same symptoms in spite of a DHCP reservation done in the router, my vault now has a fixed IP adress, but stil get stuck at this update.
i would be happier if I can refuse the updates as they mainly do not interest me (integration of amazon or apple stuff are not desired on my side)
will try a manual aupdate with uSB stick, but last times i have been in this situation it did not helped.
vault and bluesound updates really suck !

is there still assistance on this forum during lockdown ?
my vault is stuck for weeks with this 3.8.8 update. i cannot access it in any manner, led are not lightng.
I tried manual update which did not work.
what can I do other than throwing the vault to the trash ?

We're still here. I have escalated your request and we will be in touch. Until then, simply unplug it and plug it back in. You will not brick it and the problem may be simply due to a timeout error with your router and it just needs a retry.
