Why can the Node 2i not play (stream) to other Airplay / Airplay 2 devices ?

My Apple TV recognize all Airplay and Airplay 2 devices I have : itself, the Node 2i and the Marantz M-CR611. Your site says at https://www.bluesound.com/airplay/ : “With AirPlay 2 on Bluesound Gen 2i, you can connect multiple Players around the house and have them communicate with each other through AirPlay.” This is NOT the case, this is misleading, as work only as Airplay receiver : “[…] you can connect multiple Bluesound Players only around the house […]” would be more correct, transparent, fair … !

I selected BlueSound for the quality of sound (supports HD, ...) and Airplay support / integration you site claims. I expected to use the Node2i as the core of my digital music environment, with the possibility to read from local library / Internet radios / NAD CD player / ... and then play / distribute and control / stream to any Airplay / Airplay 2 device I have, not limited to Bluesound players.

Will you add this VERY SOON ?
Don’t you claim you’re working closely with Apple on Airplay, so you should be able to support it.

Hoping a positive answer, a feature added on your (development) list.

  The Bluesound NODE 2i is an Apple AIrPlay Speaker meaning it can only receive AirPlay Streams. It cannot transmit. As an AirPlay Speaker, yes you can stream your iPhone to a Bluesound Player and an Apple Homehub at the same time.
  
  Apple has only set up AirPlay to work this way with third party devices in this manner. If Apple were to make changes to AirPlay to accommodate this, it would be something we would consider.

  I hope you'll be able to get agreement from Apple to be able to stream over Airplay, you certainly have more power / influence on Apple to move this forward than a single use like me.

  Please keep this in your active "to do" list, it would reallly be great, a nice step in integration / interoperation of music equipments and the way we distribute it at home : all the purpose of a multi-room system, isn't it ?
