Tidal Direct Connect

Hello,

Is it possible to develop a Tidal Direct Connect feature as for Spotify Connect ? (Would also solve the my mix functionality)

It is already available for Chromecast audio and really user friendly.

    Hi Cyril

    TIDAL Direct is not currently available for Bluesound as we only support deep integration embedded in the App with them. I have passed it along to our Product Development Team for further consideration.

    I second that.

    Would really help since bluesound doesn't support chromecast built in.

    As the Google assistant skill is so bad, chromecast built in would really help to get voice integration.
    But tidal direct would be great aswell.

    I have sold my 6 bluesound units but would actually consider to get bluesound again if this got fixed.

    Copy that too. I pay for Tidal for quality but end up using Spotify more because so much better integrated in BluOS !

    This is bad for both high-end brands

    You will only get TIDAL MQA and lossless quality using the BluOS App with TIDAL.

    As mentioned, it is something that has been passed along to the Product Development Team for consideration.

    I also approve this request and be able to use "Tidal direct connect". This will allow us (users) to use all functionalities of Tidal applications, and also give us the possibility to see videos and enjoy the sound quality.

    And why is it also important - if we setup to exclude 'EXPLICIT' songs in BlueOS, then there are some songs that we may need to listen via Tidal Direct as well.

    I very much support this request...

    I chose Tidal over Spotify because of audio quality...

    I chose Bluesound over Sonos because of audio quality...

    but then...

    Tidal+Sonos has "connect" functionality

    Spotify+Bluesound has "connect" functionality

    --- only the desired combination doesn't... Tidal+Bluesound

    The same opinion here. I recently switched over from Spotify-Sonos to Tidal-Bluesound for better quality. Happy with that in general, but not being able to control Bluesound directly from the Tidal app is really a dissapointment. I hope the product development team picks this up really soon. What could be or is the (technical) restriction not to implement this? I'd like to hear and to have some outlook. Thanks.
