Disable fixed group for AV-inputs
AnsweredI use two Bluesound players in two adjecent rooms (sitting and dining room) therefore I use a fixed group for music and radio. The player in the sitting room (Powernode 2i) is also connected to the TV. I’d like to have the possibility that TV sound is only played in one room despite that it is a part of a fixed group.
Could this be an option for sources in AVmode? This would be convenient and also helps to reduce the extra audio delay
kind regards,
Martijn

HI Martijn
Don't make a Fixed Group.
Fixed Groups are more for groups that will NEVER be broken such as a Home Theatre or Two PULSE MINI's acting as a Stereo Pair.

Thanks Tony for your response,
I can group the two players regularly but then I still would like a possibility to have the TV input (HDMI or analog) to be played on only one player. Now I have to group/ungroup everytime I switch from music to TV.
Or am I missing something?
Thank you!

Hello Martijn,
You are correct that you will need to disband and recreate this group any time you would like to switch your audio output between a single player and a group of players.Regards,

Hi Martijn,
please have a look at this thread:
It's about the same problem. It is already one of the most upvoted feature requests here in the forum. Perhaps youb also want to vote for it.
Best regards,
