    The BluVoice Alexa Skills is only available in English. We do hope to expand this to other languages and German is very high on that list but unfortunately, we don't have a time frame on this that we are ready to share just yet.

    Dont worry you are not missing anything, the so-called alexa integration is a joke. Bluesound devices are invisible in Alexa hence its not really integrated. Alexa integration is just pure marketing BS

    Today I recognized that the BlueVoice Alexa Skill is now available in Germany.

    No comment on the qualitiy of the integration, the first tryes were not really promising :)

     

    First I needed to release all players from Apple HomeKit, before some worked some not. But this was recognizeable if you choose "Amazon Alexa" in the music services section and you don't get a dropdown menu for changing the room name, there is something wrong. Relasing all players from Apple HomeKit gave me this back.

    It's pretty hard to talk "Sag Blue Voice ..." would be great if something here will improve, but hey now I can try it before I was not able to, so lets see what works and what not.

    Alexa Skills require an invocation word. Skills work better in the BluOS environment so as we can have multiple music services other than Amazon Music and other functions unique to BluOS. It also allows us to be multi-system agnostic, so you can have Apple Home or Alexa or Google Assistant for that matter.
