Vault 2i now very slow to respond to commands, sometimes not at all
AnsweredAfter not using my Vault 2i for some time, I find that it's very slow to respond to simple commands such as 'clear Playlist queue', 'Playlists'. Sometimes there is no response at all. Sometimes Playlist names appear in the Playlist listing with the name truncated.
When I tried to index my Music Library, there appeared to be no response except the screen message 'indexing in progress'. I left my computer last night with this message on screen; when I returned 15 hours later, the message was still on the screen, but no indication that anything had happened.
My classical library contains some 600 CDs and a few streamed tracks. I'm really worried that all my work in organising all this data into hundreds of playlists keyed on the name of the composer and the work is in jeopardy.
