NAD C658 NETWORK STEAMER PRODUCING LOUD CRACKING, POPPING SOUNDS

I just purchased a NAD C658 network streamer player. The NAD C658, Bluos is upgraded to version 3.6.12. NAD C658 is network wired to a Synology NAS. From the NAD C658 audio pre out, it is then connected using dual RCA cable to my Rotel Pre-amplifier Model : RC1590 analog audio AUX input. The Rotel RC1590 (pre-amplifier) is then connected to the Rotel amplifier Model RB1590. Speaker B&W 802 D3. My listening volume via the Rotel pre-amplifier is at and around 45dB to 50dB.
Issues:
(1) When I turn the NAD C658 volume control beyond -10db (Max is +12dB), the speakers produced loud cracking sound, liken to.... it is going to break and explode.
(2) When I set the NAD C658 to fixed volume via the Bluos app, the Bluos app registered the fixed volume set to 12dB. Regardless what volume setting I have on the Rotel RC1950 (pre-amplifier), again the speakers produced loud cracking sound, liken to it is going to break and explode.
(3) With Bluesound Node 2i, switch off and only play the NAD C658, I can turn the NAD volume control to -5dB (keeping the Rotel pre-amplifier volume control the same) and again the speakers produced loud cracking sound, liken to it is going to break and explode.
However, on my Bluesound Node 2i connected to the same system, at fixed volume set via the Bluos app, I do not have such a problem, and everything play nicely, no loud cracking or breaking out noises.
Please help me, what have I done wrong or is it the newly NAD C658 network streamer is faulty.
Please help and guide me how should this NAD C658 or Bluos supposed to be connected/used?

I have contacted NAD support as well to request for support.
No response from them yet. Hopefully, they can help me to resolve the issue.
May I know, is the Bluos app be able to set for a specific fixed volume output other than the default value of 12dB.?
Another thing is that during network streaming from tidal, the unit keep experiencing drop signals despite my internet connection confirm a 500Mbps speed.

Yes. Resolved.
I have upgraded the unit to NAD M12.
