NAD C658 Subwoofer level too low
AnsweredHi
I just got my new C658. I have two SB-2000 subwoofers. On each subwoofer there are two inputs. I use one of each input to connect my Denon X4400H AVR, and the other to connect to the C658. When I run Audyssey calibration on the Denon, the subwoofer trim needs to be at 12 o'clock which gives decent volume.
But when playing music using the C658, I have to set the subwoofer trims to maximum and still, the sub output is not loud enough. I could not find a way to adjust the subwoofer volume using the Bluos app.
I haven't run Dirac live calibration yet (I'm postponing it until after I upgrade to the full version and receive my ordered umik-1). So maybe that's the problem?
Can Dirac live adjust the volume of the subwoofer for playback? Is there any way to manually adjust subwoofer levels?
Thanks

Hi Eli
This is a question for NAD Electronics... support@nadelectronics.com

Just updating that after working on this issue with NAD support, and after sending my unit back to a repair facility, it was confirmed to be a hardware malfunction. I'm now waiting for a replacement unit... So, the low subwoofer volume is a hardware related problem (I also had noises coming out of the subwoofer output when Line 1 is selected w/o a source being connected to it).
