Node 2i Issues, I have 2 with same issue
AnsweredI set up unit wirelessly and they seem to work great, but once I try to wire the units they quit working? Unsure of what is going on, used 2 different Ethernet cords and same thing. Plugged other devices into hard wired Ethernet plug and no issues. Ironically I can get it to work through my computer System App, but once I use the App on my iPad or iPhone the unit quits working and I have to do a hard reset to get it back to wireless mode. My first unit worked great till a few updates that were rolled out, not just a headache. Love the sound of the device but implementation of upgrades and software have not been good on my end!

It sounds like a router issue or possibly a switch blocking traffic. Please e-mail us your full network details at support@bluesound.com so we can provide recommendations.
That being said, if you have a Good or Excellent signal wirelessly according to the Diagnostics page, you should be fine. See www.bluesound.com/network101 for troubleshooting tips.

Thanks for the reply, I figured it is something with the Switch and or wired issue, but other devices work fine while they are plugged into the unit, tried 2 laptops and a couple of other devices. They work fine, but both of my Node 2i just quit working wired after updates. I am using a Luxul switch and have 1gb coming to my house, using a Amplify system wirelessly with good results but will switch over to a better system down the road, this might not be the fastest wirelessly but its reliable which is a hard thing to come by when your talking WiFi. I will look at your tips page.
