The long wait for Soundcloud integration

Dear Madam / Sir,
don't get me wrong, I understand these things take time and the title is therefore not an accusation;) It only describes the struggle of Bluesound users who would like to hear their unique Soundcloud songs on their HiFi (without being restricted by Bluetooth).
After waiting several years it seems that there are a number of developments and that is why I (and certainly the other users) would really like to hear an update about this collaboration if there is one. The developments are in my opinion that: 1: Soundcloud offers higher quality streaming and 2: their paid subscription has matured, partly because of point 1.
It seems that Soundcloud is getting ready to spend time on e.g. Bluesound collaboration.
What is the status of this collaboration? And if it is still on hold, I (and my fellow Soundcloud users) would ask you to resume the conversation with Soundcloud.

Just adding to the list of people looking for this.
Either native Soundcloud OR Chromecast support would be ideal - still surprised they aren't there.
Chromecast seems like the easier win - Soundcloud app supports this, as do lots of other services, so (I guess) would kill at least 2 birds with one stone.

+1 on this. Any updates? Would love to have soundcloud as a music service in the BluOs controller. I have both an nvidia shield with a chromecast and AirPlay through AppleTV, but that means I have to start my projector up to connect. Not a viable option. Soundcloud is a great service... I even pay for it.

Ok, here's an idea for the people wanting SoundCloud integration. BluOS and Airable have announced a partnership so Airable could be the one integrating SoundCloud in their services.
To be honest, SoundCloud is not accepting new partnerships and have redesigned their API's substantially in 2025 and still have to complete the transfer to AAC HLS on their new API's. But when finished it will probably last for a while.
That being said: the most chance of integration is at the mercy of Airable. So i drafted a e-mail to the Airable team:
Dear Airable Team,
I am writing to you as part of a large and growing collective of Bluesound (BluOS) users who are eager to see a native SoundCloud integration within our ecosystem.
Since the recent announcement of the partnership between BluOS and Airable, we understand that Airable is now the primary gateway for content integration on our devices. Currently, the lack of a native SoundCloud implementation is a significant gap for many audiophiles and electronic music enthusiasts who rely on the platform for unique content and high-quality streams (SoundCloud Go+).
As a community, we would like to formally request that Airable prioritizes the addition of SoundCloud to your content catalog. We believe this would:

Drive subscriptions for SoundCloud’s premium tiers among high-end audio users.

Solidify Airable's position as the most comprehensive content provider for premium hardware.
We have already reached out to Bluesound, and they have pointed towards their partners for future content developments. We hope Airable can take the lead in making this integration a reality.
We look forward to hearing about any plans regarding SoundCloud support.
