    Hi Tom

This is often caused by the bitrate and depth being dramatically different between songs - switching from say an MP3 to a Hi-Res file may be causing this. We see it more often on Bluesound NODEs using external DACs.

Can you please select Help, Send Support Request along with the name and source of the song so we may compare it to the log file and see if we can replicate here...

    Thanks in advance,

Thanks Tony. I just wanted to add. This happens with every selection I make whether it is hi res file to hi res, tune in to calm radio, to idagio and tracks within all of theses apps. Every switch that occurs creates a pop. The pop also occurs within a track if i advance the music to another spot.

    Hi Tom

Please check your App and under Help, About you are on BluOS 3.6.6.

Then please select Help, Send Support Request and give us a detailed description of your setup (External DAC or no DAC, connection type, Amp used, Speakers, yada yada yada...)

    Thanks

Same issue here. Recommended factory reset of Node 2i did not help. Did you manage to resolve this or...?

    thank you Alex

Alex, we've reopened your case with Sam T. so you may let him know if the factory reset did not resolve this for you and he can continue to work with you to a solution.

Same problem here. I was just going to start tracking down the source when I came upon this thread. The node 2i with firmware
3.14.5. Is connected to an Ifi NEO dac and pops every time I play a new track. It’s very annoying!

It doesn’t pop if you listen to continuous tracks from the same album. Seems to only do it every time I change tracks.

I just got my Node New Gen, and I have the popping nosie issue when changing tracks (it happens when I change - or go to the next track) if it goes by its own this doesn’t happen. I am getting output from Node DAC so cannot blame my amp. This doesn’t happen with Sonos Port.

Hi Mehdi (and an update to all following this thread)

Our QA team has been able to replicate this issue (for the N130 and N330, new NODE and POWERNODE only) and hopes to resolve it in a near-future release in the coming weeks.

Because all the topics are closed I post it here. Problem is still there with latest firmware on N330. I read a topic where the engineers found the problem and where working on a solution (2 years ago). When can I expect the fix?

Any updates on this? I have an NADT758v3i with a BluOS dongle and I hear pops between tracks (within albums and even when bit rates etc are the same). I have 3 Nodes elsewhere in my house that don’t do this.

    Hi Joel

As you noted your NODEs no longer do this as this was addressed in a software update some time ago. Please contact support@nadelectronics.com about your NAD T758.
