    Hello Tom,

Thank you for taking the time to provide your feedback on the BluOS app. I will pass your suggestions along to our engineering team to see if we can provide some more robust control over favorites in the BluOS app in a future update.

As for your issue with being unable to see the next or previous song buttons, if you are using the BluOS desktop app, please try resizing your window to see if a larger window allows these buttons to reappear. If this does not help, please contact our support crew directly by going to Help  > Send Support Request and we will gladly look into this further for you.

    Regards,
    Wesley P.

Couple more things after one of the recent app updates we now no longer have the skip forward and backward buttons, there used to be a cover of the album in the buttom right corner where we could play/pause and skip tracks back and forth, now this area has changed into a bar at the buttom with a smaller cover on the left side of the bar, I like this as it doesnt take up so much space, and then on the right side we have the speaker icon for volume control, and a pause button, but the back and forward buttons have been removed, if you could put them back next to pause, there is plenty of space on that bar to include them.

Also we no longer have an icon that shows the quality, if I am listening to hifi or master. So if we can have this also like they have on Tidals own app, would be nice.

No im not using desktop app im using blueos on my iphone and ipad. And the buttons that used to be there to skip forward and backward are gone now, they only show up when I click the album cover on the bar in the buttom left corner, would like to have those controllers on the bar so we dont have to click the cover.

Also please tell them to fix so that when im on the favorites list and click on an album and then go back out to the list, make it so that it doesnt jump up to the beginning of the list but always stays where I scrolled down to. Sometimes it does remember but many times it doesnt and jumps up to the beginning of the list. And make it so that whenever I search and click on an album, that it always shows so I can see right away if I have added this to favorites or not. Thx.

    Hi Tom,

The entire screen on iPad has been crippled in one of the last updates. The playlist icons at the bottom are also disappeared. Bluesound reported this as known and is working on an update (asap they said) for this screen restoring it to what it was.

So we have to wait... That’s the downside of having a streaming device. We rely on the makers for both hardware AND software and we have no way of controlling the maker except of not buying it (but we have bought already :)) So we always have a chance the device gets crippled at some point and there’s nothing we can do...

    Cheers,

    Hi Diederik & Tom

It's a fear for us here as well as the deliverers of these products. Our Quality Assurance Team is working through the issue trying to find the root cause so we can publish an update ASAP. With Apple though, we will have to wait a couple of extra days as once it passes our QA, it has to pass Apple App Store QA (more strict than Google's Play store).

We are working on it though.

The good news is the top panel buttons on your Player still work, it's a pain I realise you have to reach behind the couch and hit the top skip button - but it's there until we get this out to you.

Thanks for your continued patience and understanding and we do apologise for the inconvenience.

    Tony

    Hi Tony,

Today an update fixed the skip buttons on iPad, but no sign of the playlist with icons at the bottom. Just a blown up iPhone screen. Is this still under reconstruction?

    Cheers,

Diederik What did it fix for you regarding the skip buttons ? I just updated the app on my ipad but the skip buttons are still missing at the buttom of the screen on the bar, have to click the album cover in the left side buttom on the bar to see the skip forward / backward buttons. Or maybe it was another issue you had than me?

    Thx for the information :)

    Tom,

I’m talking about the full screen cover art mode. In the previous version the forward and backward button were missing. (Also the case on iPhone). With the cover art folded down I only have the play/pause button and volume icon. I’m not sure if the bottom section ever had back and forward buttons....

My main issue is the missing buttons on a full screen cover art ipad screen (fixed) and scrolling que at the bottom (not fixed). If you rotate your iPhone to landscape when in full screen cover art mode you get a feel on how the ipad look is supposed to be. And was in previous versions.

    Does this help?

Okay I see, and yes they used to be there at the buttom before they made it into this bar, it was located on the right side of the screen before like a square with the cover art and then the controls play/pause and forward/backward skipping for next and previous song.

Just a follow up, does anyone else have this problem with tidal within the bluos app, when you go to your favorites list, if you have a long list and you scroll a long way down on the list and click on an album, then when you press the back button it jumps all the way up to the start of the list. Then I have to scroll all the way down again to where I was, this is so annoying. In the past it only did this sometimes, but now for me it does this every time.

Anyone else having this issue or just me? I hope it can/will be fixed.

    Hi Tom

There are no place holders, bookmarks or references in many music service APIs so unfortunately, it does go back to the top. I have passed this along to QA though for feedback.

Hi, I have been in e-mail contact with Bluesound about the screen views and I'm not sure what the intentions are. On iPhone it is more or less ok now, although in portrait play view the position bar is not showing when Deezer Flow or Artist radio. But on iPad the screen still is extremely simplified compared to the previous situation where you had album art left, controls right and below the play queue with album art and horizontally scroll-able.

It's been a month now and the screen still did not restore. Leaves me thinking it has been simplified intentionally. Which then leaves me puzzled... why cripple such a beautifully designed iPad interface?

    Any thoughts?

Okay I see, is just because on Tidals own app it doesnt jump up to the top, and it didnt always do that either with blueos app but now it does every time. So was just thinking if they could make it like they have done on Tidals own app where it doesnt jump to the top, would be great. Having to scroll so much really takes a lot of time.

    Anyways thx for your reply.
