Bit Depth and Sampling Rate
AnsweredPlease add a way for us to easily see the bit depth and sampling rate of the playing track (e.g., 24/96, 24/192, etc).
I know this has been asked before and your official stance is to not support this. It won’t clutter up the display if you make it hidden by default and selectable by the user; or, maybe a popup when you tap/click on the icons for ‘HR’.
The info is in the log, I know, but that is a little slow to scroll through. Currently I connect the Node 2i via SPDIF Coax to an external DAC that has a display so that I can see this info, but I would like to see it in the app when I’m not near the DAC.
Please consider it ;-) For all us OCD audiophiles who need to see the data.

Hello,
Thank you for taking the time to provide your feedback. You are correct that we have received similar requests from other users in the past and our development team is aware of the demand for the BluOS app to display the audio quality of songs currently being played.
I will pass your feedback along to our development team as well to see if we can have this feature bumped up higher on their list of priorities.

Thanks. I like how the mConnect iOS apps display this file resolution info when DLNA streaming TIDAL or Qobuz to another network renderer of mine. It’s simple and uncluttered. I agree with the design philosophy of the ‘CD’ and ‘HR’ icons. They afford quick interpretation with just a glance; but when 24/44.1, 24/48, 24/88, 24/96, 24/176, and 24/192 all get the ‘HR’ icon, sometimes it’s nice to find out which file/song version I’m playing.
Cheers
Love my Node 2i BTW.
