    Hi MSilverman (et al)

If you are having issues running a firmware update, I am escalating your issue to our Support Crew so they can assist.

    Thanks for your patience.

Have you tried removing the USB stick, and then unplugging (power), then replugging it (power). There are USB issues right now so I would trouble shoot without any USB connections.

    can you connect via Bluetooth?

I can connect via bluetooth, but can't do anything else. The play/pause button stays red, can't play music via bluetooth, and in the BluOS app on my phone, the player doesn't show (and it doesn't broadcast the setup Wi-Fi network)

I think you need to retry with the lan cable plugged in. See the last three posts in the thread above.

    good luck.

Can you access player settings in Bluetooth and set force hotspot mode?

It’s in the Help/ diagnostics settings. It also has reboot...

My help/diagnostic screen is blank, even when I am connected via bluetooth as you can see in the attached screenshots

I am not entirely sure this has anything to do with it but as there are similarities, I'll share my story.

I have similar problems, although I have a Node 2i. The posts have already been mentioned in this topic (see the end of this topic). As you can see, I did not face a complete crash but the developers might want to know that the upgrade never actually worked. In other words, I am still getting the upgrade notification (v 3.6.3) after facing the everlasting red lights & a successful (forced) reboot many times. In short, the system does not succeed in upgrading itself. About the only thing I have not tried yet is upgrading via USB. Having read the posts here it seems too big a risk to take at the moment (considering there seem to be no security fixes).
