How to stream music from Qnap NAS to NAD M32 with BluOS 2i MDC
AnsweredHi there,
new kid question about how to stream my music stored in a Qnap NAS to a NAD M32 with MDC.
My equipment:
- NAD M32 with BluOS 2i MDC module installed and working OK
- Qnap NAS TS-119 P2
- BluOS App on Android
I have already manually added the NAS Music folder to the shared network folders (like \\[name of the NAS]\Multimedia\Music) and granted access to guest users.
Can't see how to take it from here and play music from my NAS.
Am I missing something? Does the NAD M32 work as a streamer by getting the music from the NAS directly, or do I need anything else in the middle?
Thank you in advance for any explanation.

Hi Marco
In the BluOS App, please select Help, Diagnostics, Rebuild Index (this should have happened automagically but in case it didn't...).
In the Left Navigation Drawer, select Library from the available sources. If your music is not in the Library or the Library does not appear, please select Help, Send Support Request in the App so we may review the attached log file and help troubleshoot what went wrong.
