It seems like my issue is similar to these two:

    https://support1.bluesound.com/hc/en-us/community/posts/360035456214-NAD-C388-stuck-on-Executing-BluOS-Upgrade-

    https://support1.bluesound.com/hc/en-us/community/posts/360033377034-Problem-with-upgrade-bluos

However, my system doesn't shut down after 1 minute but ultimately after 20-30 mins it does. Remains in "Executing BluOS Upgrade" mode from the second I turn the amplifier on until it shuts down automatically about 30mins later

Would really appreciate some help quickly on this issue.

Hi I have the same issue. Executing BluOS Upgrade" mode stays on the screen until it shuts down automatically about 30 mins later. And my Bluetooth is now not working as well

Turn off the C368 using the back panel switch and turn it back on to restart the upgrade.

If however, you are using an NAD BluOS Player please visit NADElectronics.com and search your product for the link from the product page.

In the future consider a DHCP Reservation on your router as BluOS Players reboot twice during upgrade and you may have an IP and MAC Address mismatch on your router...

This seems to help. I lost the error-message now. Thanks!

My IP Address is reserved already. So that is not the issue. It did not (re)start the update at all. So something went wrong or was at least triggered when I turned the amplifier off and on.

Those BluOS updates are a bit flakey. Second time in 1 year it caused errors and it does not really bring me anything. Dangerous for an amplifier if you allow me to say so.

The BluOS Update is very reliable, its usually the network connection is flaky - especially on ISP-provided routers.

As for the amplifier restarts, I am pretty confident in our good friends down the hall and their 45+ years of experience in PSU design.

Thanks. It has solved the problem. And I like the amplifier too much to miss it.

I got the same issue. Stuck in executing bluos upgrade. After 10 min he shutsdown.

Koen, this time I could solve it by taking the power completely off for a longer period of time (> 5 minutes) and then the update came through. IN the past I had to update the main software of the C368 itself (you never get a notification about those, that one i received via a support request).

    Hi Koen

Your issue has been escalated to our Support Crew - we will be in touch via e-mail

Peter - now that you have your chassis firmware updated you should not receive the problem in the future and your firmware (if required) will be upgraded automatically as part of the BluOS upgrade process.

Same problem here. I can play from Tidal, but the message about update seems persistent.

Edit: I solved it by installing NAD update.

    Dear Tony,

I have the same issue on my NAD C368 anad can't resolve it. Upgraded Firmware of NAD to latest version as of today. Also trying the firmware upgrade via USB stick, but its stuck in "Executing BlueOs Upgrade". It prompted Stage 1 Error 1. Could the support crew please get in touch with me?

Error 1 is a problem with your device connecting to your network router - reboot (you will NOT brick the unit) - if the problem persists - please e-mail support@bluos.net and our Support Crew will be happy to assist further
