Adjusting Tidal / Spotify Quality

Hi folks, Seems odd to me that we cannot adjust the streaming quality on Tidal nor Spotify to allow for better control over internet consumption. I have not yet seen this setting and find it lacks big time. Any thoughts ?

  When navigating through Tidal's with a Tidal HiFi account you will be given the option to select either CD or MQA quality for your music. With a standard Tidal subscription, the best possible quality will be played automatically when selecting music from their library. With that being said, I will bring your feedback forward to our Quality Assurance team for their consideration to see if this option would be possible in a future firmware update.

  As for Spotify, since Spotify streaming is handled outside of the BluOS application through Spotify Connect, this is handled entirely by the Spotify app and not through BluOS. Since Spotify disabled the option for selecting audio quality when streaming to external devices over Spotify Connect, you will need to reach out to Spotify directly to discuss this further.
