Bluetooth with one time verification
AnsweredHi,
this is not only for me, it's more me thinking about future customer systems with BluOS system. I am working for a custom installer company and I am thinking of placing BluOS in customer projects. But there are still some points I am not shure how I would solve them.
For Bluetooth for example, the missing onetime verification for connections is not a big deal for free standing houses. But if customers are living in bigger buildings with more flats it would be possible for neighbours to connect to the systems by Bluetooth.
It's great that Bluetooth can be switched of, and also that there are settings. But in these scenarios I believe even this is not enough.
I was also thinking of placing Blusound in some hotel projects, within the suites. But without the onetime verification or kind of push button to connect, I can't imagine how Bluetooth can work here...

Hello Stefan,
Thank you for taking the time to provide your feedback.I can see how an open Bluetooth receiver could be an issue in these scenarios which you have described. I will pass this feedback along to our engineering team to see if it would be possible to include Bluetooth security options in a future firmware update.

Hi
Are there any plans to implement this? The lack of verification seems flawed to me.
