Vault 2i Stuck on Bluesound Logo With Direct Ethernet Mac Connection

New out of the box I was getting the continual "looking for players" on the screen.

Running Mac 10.13.6 & BlueOS 3.4.9 with a cabled ethernet connection to an iMac.

I have read there is no set up required for this type of connection.

After a factory reset and 3.4.23 firmware upgrade it gets past looking for players and is stuck on the Logo screen with the Hi Res message.

I have downloaded and re-instlled BlueOS 3 times.

  From what you have described it appears you have your Vault 2i connected directly to your iMac. This connection will not work as these 2 devices will need to communicate through a network device such as a router.

  Please Ethernet connect your Vault 2i directly to your router and if the issue persists, just let me know through the email ticket you currently have open with us and I will gladly look into this further for you.
