Amazon HD not playing at 24/192
AnsweredThought I'd start another thread as the last one is marked answered.
So if you play a 24/192 UHD track from Amazon (I am subscribed to HD and can view the track on the Amazon app is indeed 24/192), well if you look at the BluOS Diagnostic log (Android app), it's only requesting the stream at 24/96. (96000/24/2 is what it says in there).
This is on a Bluesound Node 2i.
Cheers

Hi Arthur
Log out of Amazon in Music Services - in the Help Menu, select Diagnostics, Reboot. Once the player restarts log back into Amazon and try again.
If the problem persists, please select Help, Send Support Request so we may take a closer look at the log file...

Don't worry, my Node 2i has literally just asked me to apply an update, and now it works! 192000/24/2 reported.

I can't get Amazon HD on my bluos iphone app, only regular amazon music. What do I do?

Please note that my Node 2 log file also says 24/192 but an external DAC says 96/24 only so may be an issue here

Hello Ciaran - I would check your DAC - if you are on BluOS 3.4.24 and your system log says 192000/24/2, it is not your NODE

i am rechecking the setup - thanks Tony

I Checked with my friend who has the DAC and Node 2 - says Qobuz and Amazon HD only outputting 24/96 over coax on 24/192 tracks (REM Automatic for the people)

He has applied the update btw

Hi Ciaran - your friend should send a support request via the App so we may take a closer look - again, I would check your DAC. - If you are listening to MQA (and not standard HD), ensure your DAC is MQA compliant and in the audio settings of the NODE, set it to say you have an external MQA compliant DAC.

ok but neither service is MQA

I realise that Ciran... I am clarifying if you are...

OK after a soft reboot from the player the issue is resolved - sorry for the false alarm

Just a quick thanks to Tony and the Bluesound team for the quick work on this. I mean, Amazon UHD has been out less than a week and already a patch was pushed out to ensure compatibility. Good stuff.

aw shucks - I'm just the guy at the podium but will pass the kudos on to our whole team of engineers, qa testers and our Product Manager who has been working with Amazon on this for some time now - I am sure the will say it is our pleasure though...
Thanks for #LivingHiFi
