    Hello,

Just recently Amazon has released their Amazon Music HD service which is now supported by the BluOS app. To access the HD content on Amazon's music service ensure you have an active Amazon Music HD account, then simply select your favorite music and if a HD version of the song is available BluOS will play it at the highest available quality.

    Regards,
    Wesley P.

Yes it is - sort of. Click on Music Services and Amazon music is listed there. If you play a track the quality is displayed as HD (which is CD) or UHD (hi-res). The problem for me is that I cannot add or edit music within BluOS. I have to open the Amazon music app - which makes it a deal breaker for me - back to Tidal. If anyone can find a fix then please let us know.

BTW you need to sign up to an Amazon Music HD account first. They offer a 90 day free trial in the UK.

I find that troublesome also, not being able to add music to your library using BluOs with Amazon Music. I dumped Tidal when the announcement was made. I pounced to quick. The formatting is pleasing and attractive using Tidal and BluOs. It's really clumsy and cluttered, finding and playing back music using BluOs and Amazon.

    Hi Alan

Thanks for the feedback - Amazon is much more of a radio stream based on the artists or albums you select while TIDAL is a true on demand service based on their respective APIs but I have passed your feedback on to our Product Manager for feedback to our music partners... thanks for #LivingHiFi

I'm trying to work with Amazon Music HD via the desktop Windows app and/or the Android app on my tablet. While not running a Node 2i, it is an NAD Masters M10 I'm trying feed. As compared to all other sources, from "My Library" to TuneIn, Qobuz and Tidal, this is clearly the worst integration of them all. I cannot even get any of their playlists to either load into the BluOS playlist nor start playing as a "station" in the way their "Stations" or TuneIn will.

We really need usability and that is sorely lacking. I will maintain my Tidal HiFi subscription for the foreseeable future.

I've 'favourited' a number of artists in the Amazon Music app but can't find these in Bluesound?

    Hi Steve

Sometimes it may take time to refresh. Select and browse different services such as TuneIn or Radio Paradise then switch back to Amazon.

If the problem persists, please select Music Services, Amazon and log out. Restart your player by selecting Help, Diagnostics, Reboot. Once the Player restarts log back into Amazon.

Still have a problem after that, Help, Send Support Request in the App

    Hi Tony,

I am looking for a streamer that can:
    - Show up in the Amazon Music app as a casting device using Alexa cast feature (Amazon's version of Spotify Connect/Chromecast) and do that in HD at least, if not Ultra HD when available
    - That I can tell it to play a certain playlist I have on Amazon Music using my echo (voice commands not just to play a song or skip to next song but play a playlist too)

    So ideal scenarios are:
    1. I open the Amazon music app, click the Cast icon and in the list I see Bluesoound Node and it starts playing in HD
    2. I tell my Alexa speaker "Play my playlist BLABLA (on Bluesond or whatever)"

Of course, all of this has to work when the device is in standby mode so I don't have to manually turn it on I guess...

    Thanks!

    Hello Predrag,

The features you have described are not currently available through BluOS' Alexa integration. For a complete list of what commands are available through BluOS' Alexa integration, please see the article below.

With that being said, although your BluOS devices will not appear directly in the Amazon Music app, you can have your Amazon playlists play to BluOS with Alexa by creating them as presets. For more information on creating presets, please see the article below.

I am using Amazon HD with the Node 2i. How do I get the best quality from  Amazon HD, by using the Bluos app or Amazon app? and what is the difference?

Also, what is the difference if I use the Amazon HD app with Airplay2?

    Thanks
