I would have thought that I could have just provided a source from my NAD T777 to a Node 2i's 3.5mm Aux Input

(Either digital or analog or optical)

And then used the node to stream to the rest of my BlueOS gear so I could hear everywhere what was playing on my NAD T777 / Living Room

  Hello Richard,
  
  With an external input connected to your Node 2i it will show as an available source labeled Analog Input or Optical Input on the left side of the of the BluOS app. If you would like to play this input to multiple players in your network ensure that you have the Node 2i selected individually then tap the "+" icon next to the other players you would like to add to this group. By doing this the Node 2i will be the primary player of this group and allow the Analog or Optical Input to play to all of these players.
