Loosing connection with device (between software and also speakers)
Answered
Configuration
- Vault 2i connected to LAN
- 2 pulse flex 2i speakers not connected to LAN
- software: BluOS for desktop
- Up-to-date software
- Up-to-date firmware
- System is configured for stereo configuration on 4 meter distance of the Vault 2i without any wall in between.
- The channel setting of the router is 3
You are able to listen maximally to maximally 2 music numbers. Then you will loose the connection with the device(s).
Presets of radio stations are lost regularly. When you restart application, then they are back again :-(
When you switch to library: no songs are found. Restarting the device is the only solution.
Solution: Closing the application, remove the power of the speakers and remove the power of the device is the only solution to make the system working again.
What a disappointment, day in day out such kind of troubles for such a perfect device (if it works like it should have to work).
Who can help me because I'm desparate....

Thanks Wesley!
This morning when I tried to start-up the presets of a radio-station: no sound came out of 1 speaker.
Solution: Remove the power of the speaker and put power on again and restart the application on the desktop computer.

1. Set static IP numbers for your bluesound devices. This is done on your router and/or wifi access point/s. Super-duper important for a happy bluesound experience.
2. If you have more than one wifi access point, block the flex players from connecting to any which are of lower signal. This is called Mac address filtering.
Unlike sonos and others which include their own networking system, bluesound relies on your own network/wifi. The extreme diversity of products on the market mean that there are a few more setup issues with bluesound, but once ironed out they work fine in my experience.
