Windows Controller switches automatically to another Node
AnsweredWhen I start up the BluOS controller on my PC (Win10) and I select one of my Nodes (I have 3, all 1st Gen.) It starts searching for all cover art in the playlist. But after a while I automatically switches to another Node. When I try to select the correct Node again, it is not in the list anymore for several seconds to 1 minute.
After that I can select it again, and it starts over searching for the cover art. But once again, after some time it does the same again, switching to another Node.
I already uninstalled the desktop app, and reinstalled it. No solution. Even connecting one with an ethernet cable and the other on wifi or both on wifi, it all doesn't matter.
All I know it's very annoying….
What is wrong here?
Thx.

Hi JST1963
The original NODE you are connecting to is having a problem connecting to the App due to something on your network blocking traffic. Please ensure your router supports Multicast. Also check out www.bluesound.com/network101 for basic network troubleshooting.
If problems persists, please select Hel;p, Send Support Request so we can help troubleshoot further...

Hi Tony,
I have been checking my settings in my routers (set as a bridge) and the first one has the option for Multicasting enabled. The second one is set a bridge so I don't have that setting.
In any case, I tried the drastic way: pushed the button on top of the Node for more than 30 seconds while adding power, then regenerated the library and it all looks ok now… Weird...
