Library indexing with Vault

If the Vault is present in a setup, how does library indexing work? Does every Bluesound device have a separate index and just retrieves the files to play from the Vault or they all use the library index from the Vault?

  Hi Alex

  All Bluesound Players have a copy of the current indexed Library and can access it. My POWERNODE in the Living Room can listen to music stored on my VAULT in my Den without the VAULT playing.

  Hi Tony,

  What happens if the metadata is updated on the Vault? Is it automatically reflected in all Bluesound devices or you need to re-index the library on each one of the devices in the network?

  We have taken care of that. Part of the Indexing process is to update all players with the current index.
