Should I Create a Fixed Group for 2 Players?
AnsweredI am running a NAD T-758 with internal BlueSound module. But, since it's digital it cannot be output to my Zone B speakers, I also purchased a Vault 2i and have it connected via analog input to the NAD. I typically listen to music throughout my home using both A and B zones simultaneously, driving my mains in my living room and several sets of ceiling speakers off the B zone. Essentially my internal BlueSound module is sitting idle almost all the time.
Do I gain anything by creating a fixed group in BlueOS containing both players?
I notice that if the NAD is shut off all night the case is still fairly warm in the morning so I think the wireless BlueSound attachment is still feeding a signal to the module even if it's not in use. If that's the case I may as well use them grouped together I'm thinking.
Does anyone have experience with a similar situation? Are there advantages or disadvantages to either method?
Thanks in advance for sharing any insight!

Hi Ron
You gain no advantage in grouping them.
If you are concerned about heat from the NAD T758 and it appears to be well ventilated, drop our good friends down the hall a note at support@nadelectronics.com and they will be happy to review best practices and ensure all is okay.
