Streaming C368 inputs to a different player is not an option, right?
AnsweredI have never seen the option to stream audio coming from external inputs to other players being advertised, so I assume it's not possible (competitors that I know that have this feature, including Yamaha MusicCast and Denon HEOS, rightfully brag about it), but I could not find any post or document acknowledging that it is not possible on Bluesound.
My CD player is connected to the C368 digital input. When playing CDs, the BluOS Controller (Android) surprisingly recognizes the digital input of the NAD and the UI makes it possible to add other players to form a group.
When I then add my Mini 2i player to form a group, a group is created, but nothing happens (meaning the C368 keeps happily playing, but the Mini 2i remains silent).
This is by design and it would be of no use to try to connect the CD to C368's line input, right?
I just wonder, what is the use of the external inputs being recognized by BluOS Controller, if it cannot do anything with them? I think it's a bit confusing. Maybe the app could warn someway if the active input cannot be streamed to different players?

Hi Vincent
NAD Players using a BluOS aftermarket MDC Solution (BluOS/VM300/VM130) do not have the capability of grouping their external inputs with BluOS. This is a limitation of the NAD Chassis firmware.
NAD Players with BluOS Built in (M50.2, M10, C658) can group their external inputs.
