    Just some visual evidence - it's a M32 (I wish it was an M12 :))

    Hi Koen

We have been able to duplicate your issue here. We suspect your M32 is missing a firmware update. Please update the chassis manually; https://nadelectronics.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/09/M32_v1.27.zip

After that completes you may have to run the BluOS Upgrade again if prompted. If you need assistance, please select Help, Send Support Request or e-mail our good friends at support@nadelectronics.com

Thanks Tony. I re-applied both updates (I'm a PC enthousiast, I'm keen to apply updates asap) but nothing changed.. still an M12. I'll take it to NAD!
