ConstAnt BluOS failures
AnsweredWe bought 2 BluOS speakers nearly two years ago. One of them produces beautiful sound. So does the other one but only when playing online sources accessed directly through the BluOS App. Otherwise it crackles and cuts in and out.
However, the BluOS software is just hopeless. There are very frequent problems with every aspect of using BluOS. It feels like we have spent more time over the last two years fiddling around trying to get BluOS working than we've spent listening to music. The range of problems and solutions has been enormous and every time you think you've got it sorted a different problem arises requiring a different solution.
in our home we run a number of other wireless and Bluetooth devices and applications successfully so we aren't complete novices. In fact, often we just give up on BluOS and run the desired music source wirelessly or via Bluetooth either through our TV surround sound system, a small Sonos speaker, earphones or headphones, alll quite effortlessly.
Our advice - if you value your sanity, avoid BluOS!!
