Shuffle Kinda Random But Not Random Enough

When I select SHUFFLE on Library > Songs it does shuffle the songs, but it seems like they are consistently from what I'd say is probably just 2% of the albums in my library.  What am I doing wrong?

My Library has over 20,000 songs.

  I have just found the same issue. I have just shuffled forty songs and they came from four albums. It's pretty bad considering that I have 14,000 songs to chose from. Any more info would be great.

  Hi Mark - Bluesound Support got back to me after I posted this issue...

  Playing music randomly on the BluOS app is indeed possible.
  
  Please be aware of a few things before shuffling your music...
  
  We know that only a certain amount of tracks can be shuffled at once, as we load in around 100 songs at once into the Play Queue - then when reaching the last song in the Play Queue, we load the next 100(from a playlist OR list of songs) - repeating this up to the amount loaded.
  
  Since only the first 100 songs are shuffled, we'd suggest clearing the Play Queue first- load the playlist OR song listing that you wish to shuffle - afterwords, in the Play Queue - select the last song in the list, you should now see the other songs from your song/playlist listing(at least the next batch of 100) - repeat this until all songs are loaded, then shuffle the play queue).
  
  You won't use shuffle right away - you need to continuously load the last song from the play queue - until all songs exist in the play queue from the playlist/said song listing you loaded.
  
  After that, selecting shuffle should work as intended and by design.
  (Once complete it may be best to save your Play Queue as a Playlist for future playback)

  On my Node 2i, I've noticed that a surprisingly large number of songs that get played when I shuffle songs come from my playlists.  With almost 9000 songs here, the frequent appearance of playlist songs is not a coincidence.

  Use of shuffle will vary.  In my case, I find it can be a good way to rediscover songs I've not listened to in a while.

  Perhaps Bluesound engineers can offer us some settings relating to shuffling songs.  They could be things like:

  - shuffle contents come just from my playlists

  - shuffle contents should contain no songs from my playlists. etc.
