OT: Using your music library offline on Android (ie on a flight)
AnsweredHi All,
An off topic question, since folks here might be the closest to sharing my same situation. I have a good library of music on a NAS, setup to bluesound spec using the cover.jpg method for album art and no embedded art.
I'm working out how to properly set up to use some noise cancelling headphones for an upcoming long haul flight and holiday. I'm assuming I have no internet access, so can't stream. I just tried to copy an album from my FLAC library onto my phone SD card, which worked fine. I could then play it no worries offline on the Google Play Music app, but the cover art did not show. Not a big deal but a bit annoying.
If anyone has done the same thing, what music player app do you use? Do you need to embed art of does it work with the cover.jog in the album directory?
I'd like to just grab a large slice of my library (perhaps converted into high quality MP3 to save some space) and copy it onto an SD card in my phone and be able to play it to headphones on the flight or other times during my month away from home. Maybe someone has been there and done that?

Hi Stelvio
I can't speak for how Google handles album art in their App - I'd try Googling that if I were you...
