Vault V 500 on/off

I just bought a Vault v500 1TB, this device has apparently no on/off button.

My hifi installation is connected to one central power wall outlet, when not in use , I disconnect the whole system with one switch.

so , when this happens all devices fall without power.

Is this safe for the Vault ,or do I  have to search for another solution

PS this Vault works very nice

  You Can...

  But the VAULT acts as much as a network storage device as it does a streamer. Be warned it can take as long as 2 minutes to boot. Do know that if idle for 15 minutes, the VAULT hard drive will spin down. Your Gen1 VAULT 500 will consumer less than 6W in this mode. Since 2012 though the EU has upped their standards so the VAULT 2 and 2i will be >3W when idle.

  I personally leave mine on...
