    Hi David

If you are using the wired ports, wi-fi is disabled automatically disabled.

Hi Tony, I have the same request and I can confirm that once wi-fi has been turned on and the Powernode uses a wireless connection it stays like that even with when wired.

    Hello Giovanni,

As Tony has mentioned, the Powernode will automatically disable its wireless communications once an Ethernet cable is connected. If the Powernode was previously connected to WiFi and the Ethernet cable is disconnected, the Powernode will automatically revert to WiFi to reconnect to the network.

    Regards,
    Wesley P.

It seems that "When you connect a wired cable, the WiFi Module is disabled automatically." is true, but only when you actually plug in a wired cable. When the cable is already connected and the wired internet starts working, the unit doesn't recognise that and stays on WIFI. No problem, but something you should know. So plug out the cable and plug it back in, to disable WIFI.

And every time you reboot...pretty poor!

This is not how it works….

If you have a working Ethernet cable connected when it reboots or powers on Wi-Fi is disabled automatically, nothing needs to be done,

Hi,I really need the information for a new installation of powernode, powernode edge and 3 Pulse flex 2i. I need to disable WLAN because all devices are connected with LAN wire. Are you sure, the WLAN doesn't send any frequency anymore? I have a customer who is really sensitive of the WLAN signals ... thank you for a prompt l answer....

Wireless is not active if using a wired Ethernet connection, you may also want to disable Bluetooth using the BluOS App.

I have bluesound nodes connected to ethernet, and my computer connected to ethernet. They are on the same network. I cannot select music using the Bluos app unless the wifi in the house is on. Why is this the case if ethernet disables wifi?

Your router is blocking traffic - check your router multicast settings or documentation to understand why it is not allowing IoT traffic on your home network in a wired setup. If problems persist - you can select Help, Send Support Request in the App and in the description field tell our Support Crew the make and model of your router.
