Controller on macOS - Library is one track behind
AnsweredI have a Node 2i with my FLAC/MP3/AAC library on an Apple Airport Extreme (shared via SMB).
Browse to any album in your library. Click on "Play All". The first track is highlighted in the album list. Let the track play through to track #2. Track #1 remains highlighted. Let the track play through to track #3. Track #2 is now highlighted.
Additionally, click on a track's play icon on the far right. Same behavior: it will play that track and at the end, the selected track remains highlighted, even though the player has advanced to the next track.
Finally, if you open the Play Queue, that correctly highlights the currently playing track.
Rinse, repeat.

Thanks Ken
I have sent this to QA to review and see if we have a bug going on here...

FYI ... I am also seeing similar behavior with Qobuz and TIDAL. Same behavior, exactly.

Thanks Ken
It's not the source, its how the queue is reporting so that is expected given what was initially mentioned.

Hi, This has been going on for at least a year - I submitted a support request months ago and the nice person said that they'd raise a defect report and get it fixed. Still waiting.

Question answered..... and what? Still nothing.
Do you - Bluesound team - need years to fix the problem? Come on guys, it's not a trip to the Moon.
Shame on you ignoring users for many months.
Regards.

Hi Siemak
We are not ignoring the problem and continue to look for the root cause as not every trip is a walk to the corner store either... Thanks for your continued patience.

Six months later... and at least two major updates... still broken.

Thank you fro your feedback Ken - I have passed your concerns to our Quality Assurance team. That being said, sometimes, some bugs are a little more slippery and scoot under covers faster than others... doesn't mean we aren't looking for it. Thanks for your continued patience...

I believe this has been fixed, with the latest release of the Bluesound Controller on macOS.
