Deezer Family Account
AnsweredDoes the current 2019 Bluos platform support Deezer Family accounts? I have just migrated to the family or mutiple Deezer account system and I am unable to verify whether or not the Bluos platform allows me to integrate the mutiple accounts that I have now in the Deezer Family account? My wife in particular would like to be able to utilize her new account for the Bluos platform but as of yet I do separately see her account populating in the controller?

Bluesound only accepts one log in account per music service. You can use a child account from a Deezer family account but yes that account will be replicated to all other Players in the system.

i found this post while looking at a solution to change my Deezer's profile in the BlueOS platform. We have the same situation as Paulump, the Bluesound system connected to our Deezer family account, but we only see and have access to the main Deezer profile of this account. As I can undertstand, it would be possible to change the profile, isn't it? I didn't found the way to.

The information Tony provided last year is still valid. The BluOS app can only use a single valid account for each streaming service, including Deezer. When using a family plan, only one of these accounts can be used at a time. If you sign out of an account and into another family member's account, this will overwrite any previous Deezer information stored in the BluOS app and only the details of the current account will be displayed.Regards,

I thank you for the answer. It is clear to me that I only can use one "account" at a time, the consequences of changing the account are also clear. My question is now how to change the user. The trick in a Deezer family plan is, all members of the plan are logging in with the same ID and PW. Once logged in, you can free change from one profile to the other. When I now log in over BluOS, i only access to the main profile of the plan, i can't find the way to change to another profile of the account. Is there a way to do it?

Just to clarify, only the primary account will be accessible when using a Deezer family account. Since all these accounts use a single login, there will be no way to sign into another profile through the BluOS app. Other services such as Tidal use multiple account credentials for a family account to allow each user to log in individually but since this is not available through Deezer, you will be limited to only using the primary account for this family plan through the BluOS app.Regards,

no, I have experienced that it is now possible in Deezer to have a family account with several members, each with their own username and password. Therefore, it is possible in Bluesound to switch from one account to another. Switching accounts is quite tedious, but possible.

2 years away and no support of multiple accounts in bluesound systems?
How should we use multiroom solution, where it is not possible to use it for more people???
