Can I just use my Powernode 2i like a pair of bluetooth speakers? Completely fed up with the problems with this unit.
AnsweredOh Bluesound...I give up. It's been years of problems and I'm out of patience.
I have a laptop. On my laptop is my iTunes library. All I want to do is play the music in my iTunes library over quality speakers.
I don't stream. I don't use paid music services. I don't care about TuneIn or any other collection of internet radio stations. I don't want to have to sync to a NAS and reindex every time I add to my music collection.
I'm tired of my unit disappearing from my home network and/or losing my music library. I'm tired of it not being able to access my NAS when it accessed the day before. I'm tired of all the troubleshooting.
All I want is a simple solution - to be able to play my music when I want to play it. That's it.
Can I at least do that?

Hi Steve
Sorry to hear you are having problems. If you are having constant issues with your laptop connecting to your players, you really should consider an external NAS.
That being said - Bluetooth? Sure! www.bluesound.com/bluetooth

Hi Tony,
I have an NAS where I sync my iTunes library then I index this through the Bluesound app. I'll check out the bluetooth link.
Thanks.

Please do send us a log file though regarding the NAS by selecting Help, Send Support Request. Something odd is happening here...

Hi Tony,
Sorry for the delay in getting back to you. I've sent the support request. Also, I did notice last night that the Powernode 2 is an option in my speaker selections. This may be a moot point. I didn't realize it would be there.
Thanks.
