QNAP pairing Node2i
AnsweredHello
I have Qnap NAS drive and try to add it to Node2i libraries. I enable SMB protocol on NAS. NAS appears in network for all devices like computer and Android phone. The problem is that whenever I try to enter the path in Node 2i \\Nasname\Drivename\Foldername, I keep receiving mounting failure message. May I ask for advice how to resolve it? Maybe, I should confogure something on Qnap?

Hi Jacek
Sounds like it may be a permissions issue. Please ensure Guest is enabled on the QNAP for that folder. If the problem persists, please select Help, Send Support Request in the App so we can review the system log and find out how far it is getting before it fails.

Thanks for your help. The problem is solved. I modified the path and added user/login, so it works now.
Another question: how to add pictures with covers for CDs stored at NAS, so the Node2i will see them and display in the bluesound app. Should I store it as "folder.jpg" file in the same directory, where tracks are stored?Best regardsJacek -
HI Jacek
Pretty much. Here's the details on how artwork is handled in BluOS; https://support.bluos.net/hc/en-us/articles/360000368827
