Preferred Surround Set UP with Pulse Soundbar 2I, 2 Pulse Flex 2i speakers & Pulse Sub

Hello,

 

What is the preferred set up to create home a theater surround sound "5.1" with the following Bluesound components (see below)? I have set up below for my bedroom & 65" 4K OLED LG TV.

•  Pulse Soundbar 2i
• 2 Pulse Flex 2i  speakers
• Pulse Sub
• TV set up via ARC HDMI (HDMI ARC Compatible cables)
• Tried set up in both WiFi (5.2) and via ethernet

1. Add "Home Theater Fixed Group" or

2. Add "Multi-Player Group"

Is Dolby, Dolby Vision supported?

I went through Home Theater Fixed Group setup successfully and the Pulse Flex 2i speakers were not firing/working. Went thought the following: Netflix-UD Dolby Vision, NBC/ABC/CBS Dolby 5.1  shows, Prime TV 4K shows, Hulu Plus, HBO Now content (Game of Thrones, True Detective), 4K YouTube content.

I can play music in individual speaker or flex as stereo pair.

Music: Spodify, Amazon Music,

Do I need to use TS-Link option rather than HDMI ARC?

  Hi Will

  It is standard Dolby. We do not support Dolby Vision. It will work with ARC via HDMI but we have seen some issues with some TVs on HDMI. if you can run an optical cable please do.

  If problems persists, please select Help, Send Support Request so we can see your log file and troubleshoot further.

  Thank you response Tony. I’ll add optical cable connection and try it as well. So, I should create a Home Theater Fixed group rather than multi player group, correct?

  Yes, you want a Home Theater Group fro this set up to experience Dolby.
