Gen 2i and Bubble UPnP
AnsweredHi,
I want to buy the Bluesound NODE 2i and use it to play all my ripped Cd's that I've put on Windows OneDrive. I've seen that your collaboration with the Groove app has stopped, and so I wonder if is it possible to use the Bubble UPnP App to play music via the Node 2i. (or any other App...)
Bubble UPnP has the advantage you can use it with Google Drive, Dropbox, Box, OneDrive and many others.
If I'm correct the 2i generation support the DLNA and UPnP, so is it possible ???
Many thanks for your answers...

Hi Castermane
Microsoft sold Groove to Spotify and discontinued support of streaming via One Drive as part of that deal, we didn't have much of a say in it.
BluOS does not support DLNA because the protocol simply is not reliable enough to stay in sync when grouping 3 or more players.

Hi Castermane
Download them to a local drive and create Network Share

That's a problem for me ! I've more than 300 ripped cds on my OneDrive account ! I've to download all of it, and let my computer turned on when I want to use the Bluesound Node 2i.
I regret that you don't offer a solution to use the cloud like other manufacturers does.
So no solution except download my ripped cds ??
Thanks

If you don't want to keep your PC on all the time, check if your router allows you to connect a USB drive to it as a cost effective NAS solution - but your only current solution is to have your content locally.
