Having Notice Streaming Timed Out Messages

I have fairly slow internet here in Hawaii about  5 to 6Kbps and I am having  constant "Streaming Timed Out" messages every few songs and cannot seem to get any faster internet here?  So, I have a MacBook Air and I am streaming Amazon Prime Unlimited as my music server.  So, I can stream Netflix and Youtube and movies just fine, but using the Nodi 2i apparently requires super fast bit rate to retain high resolution music?  So, I am constantly having error messages indicating "Notice Streaming Timed Out" messages all the time.  

My only option is to use an iPad and plug it directly into my Marantz CD 6006 USB plug and "bypass" the BlueSound Controller and just use the Amazon controller via USB into my Marantz into the Nodi 2i via Analog setting,  and since I am using my DSL ethernet plug into the Nodi it seems fine.   My question is, is the sound quality going to be inferior not playing thru the BlueSound Nodi 2i  Controller?

  Hi Ronald

  What you are seeing is because we don't upsample or down sample. Unlike Netflix or Youtube, we do not use a variable bit rate to ensure sound quality. We do have a large buffer. You may want to consider wiring your players to avoid any additional degradation of the all ready weak signal that will happen with wifi.
